Both hands and head are activated by pressure on the rubber mat in front of the sculpture. When the genitals (two hand pumps) are squeezed, the eyes in the head change direction. The sculpture is in full working order. (It was rewired by the artist in 2006. A full set of wiring instructions now accompany the work.)
