Claudia Di Francesco Italian, b. 1992

Claudia Di Francesco (b. 1992, Rome, Italy) immerses herself in memories and suggestions of an intimate nature to which she invites us to participate, where imaginary narratives and figures with archaic features, translucent bodies, and penitent souls float in a world that seems upside down. Her visionary scenes are inhabited by unusual animals and disproportionate figures, particles of a world that transforms and transmits. The figures in her paintings, whether real or imagined, evoke the indissoluble connection with nature, the body, and the cyclical nature of life and death. In her works, the past and present intertwine in continuity, and the form is never fully concluded, but always open to possibilities.

Among the main group exhibitions she has participated in: 2025, Viaggi | Journeys, Alma Pearl Gallery, London, curated by Celeste Baracchi; artist residency, Art Gallery Kazanlak and Museo di Kazanlak (BG), Jun; Embryonic Journey, Richard Saltoun Gallery, Rome; La parete che resta, Cartavetra Gallery, Florence; Prendete & Mangiate - Armonie Invisibili. curated by Carolina Levi, produced by 5VIE, Design week, Milan; 2024 Arte e Architettura in Simbiosi at the Wuhan Wanda Space, China; The Garden’s Heart, Palazzo Olivetti Rason, Florence; Oscillations 2024, a project spread across Palazzo Ruschi Pavesi, Palazzo Sforza, and Palazzo Buttini, curated by NoGallery.
