Like BRACHA's paintings, her notebooks are characterized by a balance between abstract and figurative through very fine strokes, application of layers of color, and definition of shapes creating an oblique atmosphere between darkness and light and invite the viewer to immerse themselves in an intimate and spiritual time.
The practice of L. Ettinger has its roots in her autobiographical past, in the history of parents who survived the Holocaust, and analyzes the concepts of trauma, oblivion, feminine and “matrixial” gaze, of the space of the unconscious and passing from the invisible to the visible, emphasizing the properties of the art of healing and healing the individual and society.
