Brigitte Niedermair delved deep into Dior’s extensive archives, selecting approximately 40 historical creations, each of which was photographed twice using a camera with a silver-plated body in five-by-four-inch format.
The book exclusively reveals previously unpublished information about the making of the garments, including jackets, coats, daywear looks, and evening gowns. The volume features a foreword by Maria Grazia Chiuri and includes contributions from Olivier Gabet, Brigitte Lacombe, Maripol, and artists and designers such as Martino Gamper and Marcello Jori.
