ArtgenÈve: Ria Verhaeghe

Richard Saltoun Gallery presents a solo presentation of works by Belgian artist Ria VERHAEGHE, focused on her ethereal Vertical paintings.  Verhaeghe's work is primarily concerned with giving new importance to images and photographs of death and tragedy found in newspapers that are often quickly discarded and forgotten. As a mostly self-taught artist, Verhaeghe’s work is heavily influenced by her studies in music history and professional background as a nurse.

Our adjacent group presentation will feature works by Maliheh Afnan, Romany Evelegh, Bita Ghezelayagh, Huda Lutfi, Simryn Gill, Juliana Seraphim and Fathi Hassan.
