Historian Eva Badura-Triska described it as: "he again performed himself - although depersonalised by bandages - and set activities that targeted elementary sensual experiences such as exploring the particular space, viewing one's own reflection in a mirror, feeling light and warmth, but also handling a dead hen and a diversity of other objects that again trigger associations of fear, sickness, and vulnerability.."
